At mediaROI, we use artificial intelligence technologies to deliver more relevant marketing analytics and an enhanced user experience. Transparency about the use of these technologies is central to our approach.

1. AI Services Used

Our platform integrates artificial intelligence services provided by OpenAI and Anthropic to power the following features:

  • mediaAI — A conversational assistant that helps you interpret your marketing data and formulate strategic recommendations.
  • Dataset Analysis — Automatic detection of your data file structures to streamline configuration on the platform.
  • Channel Configuration — Intelligent suggestions for mapping your data columns to marketing channels.
  • Modeling Parameters — Generation of initial parameters for Marketing Mix Models, based on industry knowledge.
  • Document Analysis — Extraction of relevant information from documents you upload (reports, reviews, studies) to enrich the configuration of your models.

2. Our Commitment to Protecting Your Data

We designed our AI integration with data protection as a top priority:

  • No raw data transmitted — AI services never receive your raw marketing data (budgets, revenues, detailed performance metrics). Only metadata (column names, data types) and aggregated results are shared for the purpose of processing your requests.
  • Systematic anonymization — When data samples are needed for structural analysis, numerical values are automatically replaced with random values before being sent to AI services.
  • No training on your data — Your data is never used to train or improve artificial intelligence models. We use these services through configurations that explicitly exclude the use of your data for training purposes.
  • Strict data isolation — Each company's data is strictly siloed. No cross-referencing between different clients' data is performed, neither by our platform nor by the AI services.

3. Processing of Uploaded Documents

If you upload documents to the platform (PDF, Word, PowerPoint), their textual content may be processed by our AI services to extract useful information for configuring your models (for example, performance indicators from media reports). This processing follows these principles:

  • Only text-based documents are concerned — tabular data files (Excel, CSV) are not sent to AI services.
  • Extracts are processed in isolation on a per-company basis.
  • Extracted data is only used within the scope of your account and your models.

4. Control and Transparency

  • The use of the mediaAI assistant is optional and initiated only by you.
  • The assistant can only answer questions related to your data on the platform.
  • No internet searches or access to external data are performed by the assistant.
  • No data is shared with third parties other than the AI providers mentioned above, strictly for the purpose of processing your requests.
