Paris and Munich, October 21, 2026. mediaROI, the first European AI-Native platform dedicated to Marketing Mix Modeling, calibrated attribution and incrementality, announces the opening of Germany, its second market outside France, one month after Spain, and the appointment of Jan Jacoby as Head of Sales Germany. He joined the company on October 12, 2026.
Jan Jacoby brings more than fifteen years of experience in digital advertising and AdTech in Germany, and has opened the DACH market several times for international companies. He first sold media to German advertisers and agencies at eBay (2008-2010), AutoScout24 (2010-2014) and Yahoo (2014-2016). He then led the DACH market entry of three international AdTech companies: Teads (2018-2019), Channel Factory (2020-2021) and Zefr (2021-2022), where, as Commercial Director DACH, he built the Germany, Austria and Switzerland business of a contextual video and brand suitability platform, working with brands and the leading media agencies. From 2022 to 2024, he worked at AutoScout24 again. Since 2024, he has advised AdTech, SaaS and digital media companies on their expansion across DACH and Europe, notably as Founding Account Executive at Scaleflex, the European publisher of a SaaS digital asset management (DAM) solution.
As mediaROI’s first commercial hire in Germany, Jan Jacoby owns the full sales cycle, from first contact to signature: building the go-to-market strategy for Germany (target accounts, local positioning, sales materials), running sales cycles with CMOs and Heads of Media & Data at Enterprise and Mid-Market advertisers, generating opportunities through direct prospecting and his network among advertisers and media agencies, and evangelizing mediaROI’s measurement approach: measuring the real contribution of every channel, online and offline, without relying on individual tracking.
With €29.6 billion in advertising investment in 2025, Germany is the second-largest advertising market in Europe, behind the United Kingdom. German advertisers face the same challenges as advertisers in other markets: increasingly fragmented signals, a last click that accounts for a smaller share of their business every quarter, and consent rules that weaken individual tracking. At the same time, rigorous measurement is still sold and delivered as a consulting project, out of reach for many advertisers. mediaROI’s answer: an AI-Native platform where connectors collect and clean the data, models are built and refreshed automatically, attribution is calibrated by MMM, a simulator reallocates budgets, and mediaAI lets marketers query their results in natural language. AI strengthens scientific rigor; it does not replace it. The result: an MMM that can be used within a few weeks and is refreshed at the pace of decisions.
“One month after Spain, we are opening Germany, Europe’s second-largest advertising market. Jan has spent more than fifteen years on the other side of the table, selling media and AdTech to German advertisers and agencies. He knows which questions they still cannot solve, and who is asking them,” says Antoine Szalewski, CEO and cofounder of mediaROI.
